(Technology to process drinking water using electrosorption)

• In the electrosorption, positive pole absorbs the negative ion and negative pole the positive ion to remove inorganic ion in the water.
• The electrosorption uses the electrode coated with CNT (Carbon Nano-Tube) of larger specific surface area and better absorption rate than the electrode which is manufactured by mixing powdered activated carbon or other substances for water treatment, which enhances the absorption effect and increases the efficiency of desorption at regeneration. It is an excellent technology in economic view.
• The applicable areas are the absorption of inorganic ion in small-scale water supply system, the separation of uranium waste in the nuclear power plant, and the recovery of valuable metals.
