Sewerage Act

• Article 19-2 (Public Sewer Agency, etc.)
  • ① The management authority of public sewer may entrust the operation and management of public sewer to a person (hereinafter, “Management Agency”) who corresponds to one of followings.
    • 1. A person who has satisfied the requirements of system, equipment, and technicians prescribed by the Presidential Decree to register in the Minister of the Ministry of Environment.
    • 2. A provincial construction company or a provincial industrial complex who carries out the project of the Article 2 Clause 1-6 in「Local Public Enterprise Act」who has reported to the Minister of the Ministry of Environment prescribed by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Environment
  • ② A change of registration should be implemented if any change is required for the important information prescribed by the ordinance of the Ministry of Environment among registered information according to the Clause 1-1.
  • ③ A management agency should comply with the terms prescribed by the Presidential Decrees such as the recording and preservation of information regarding public sewer management.
  • ④ The registration procedure and other necessary matters in the business with an agency for the operation and management of public sewer (hereinafter, “Public Sewer Agency”) according to the Clause 1 shall be prescribed by the ordinance of the Ministry of Environment.
