Environmental Impact Evaluation Act, Article 9 (Targets for Strategic Evaluation on Environmental Impact)
- The chief of administrative institute who is about to establish a plan corresponding to one of followings shall implement the strategic evaluation on environmental impact.

- Plan to develop cities & towns
- Plan to create industrial locations & industrial complex
- Plan to develop energy
- Plan to construct harbors
- Plan to construct roads
- Plan to develop water resources
- Plan to construct railroads (Urban railroad included)
- Plan to construct airports
- Plan to use and develop streams
- Plan to reclaim and landfill public waters

- Plan to develop tourist complex
- Plan to develop mountain areas
- Plan to develop specific areas
- Plan to install sports facility
- Plan to install a waste treatment system
- Plan to install national defense and military facility
- Plan to collect soil, rocks, sand, pebbles and minerals
- Plan to install a facility prescribed by the Presidential Decree which causes the impact on environment
